beating the heat of corruption

The entire nation is binded by one thread and that is fighting against corruption. There is a wave thats engulfing one and all. Everyone is enthused to be a part of the campaign which is turning into a big tidal wave sweeping the government off their feet.

It has been easy to bring the nation together on the issue of corruption as it has affected us all in some sort. It has been a common concern of all. The newspapers have been filled with all kinds of scams and we are all fed up to see nothing but the list of scams our dear elected representatives have done...

The question that repeatedly comes in my mind is that the ones that are part of the campaign havent they ever been a part of corruption whether it is to bribe the TC to get a berth while travelling without reservation or getting a licence for starting a business.

I strongly feel the nature to give or take bribe campaign is subjective and needs to be dealt individually. The campaign should be against the very human nature to bribe and get a way out of difficult situation. Instead of pointing fingers only to others we need to remember that there are fingers pointing you too.
We all have encouraged corruption in some or the other way. I think the campaign should be to fight corruption within and once that is overcome than there will be no need for larger nation wide campaigns.

It is important to fight the very nature of human beings to go to extents to get the work done. Sad to say but even the 'civil society organisation' who are supposed to be the champions of the masses have not been left from the gambit of people encouraging corruption to get projects.

Let this fight be against every person who is either corrupt or promotes corruption.

Dancing with the gods

Had the most memorable time today celebrated Independence day at a mall near my house. Surprisingly the mall hosted a programme in the evening..dont get your wild horses running ...pull them up ..no celebrities but the heroes of real life. The ability foundation had organised the event with the specially abled or differently abled students.

It was a real feast to the eye to see the differently abled people perform like any other person without disabilities. The thing that touched me the most was their enthusiasm and happiness while performing. They had so much to give to the world...It was a union of body, mind and soul. They danced with all their heart..so much so that they touched everyones heart.. It was such that the aura around was positive and in union with god. was a different experience altogether the performers dance as if they were dancing with the gods.

The crowd there was in awe and that made the performers glow in the glory.. I could very well connect to them ..feel what they felt...my eyes were filled with tears to see them perform flawlessly and giving all that they had to give. It showed the efforts that had gone into putting up that great show.

I feel at times we tend to over indulge ourselves into things and forget the basics of life... giving means bringing happiness to all sans the material bonds of course. The performers did teach a lesson to us all present there inspiring us to be brave and accept the realities of destiny but win over destiny with sheer hard work and determination...

Cheer to all the people who despite all odds have been able to bring the best in them and nurture it...

After a long silence....

Hey friends... I am back was too busy on the personal and official front. I bet switching a job as well as  hunting to find a house near the office is not too easy in a place like Delhi..but I guess I am too lucky I had promised myself into finding a house in a weeks time which i surely did. I patted myself for it though.  I missed writing and connecting to friends in my own special way through the blog. I promise you will be soon getting on to business. I will be talking on women' issue in my next blog.

launch of the third eye

hi friends,

oh good lord ..my first posting... at last I have managed to get myself a blog to pen down my thoughts, a platform to share my feeling with wider public ...it has taken too long though to take the first step towards writing or scribbling I should say.  Dont really know whether I will be able to satisfy your reading buds but i am sure wont simply bore you to death. a promise that will be well kept  sure to bring a lot of variety on the platter soz i do believe variety is the spice of life.

I am the kind with an inclination to write on social issues as thats what my job is all about a developmentalist by profession have seen te miseries very closely have had a dream to be able to change the world and have pursued it in profession...wont say I am changing the world but will surely say I am doing my bit to make the change and as Gandhiji said ( I have a lot of respect for the father of the nation as he lived his values and set example for people to follow suit) .

The blog will try and bring forth issues and concerns that are bothering me in a way in form of anecdote analysis and emotions I see I feel at the ground level. I am sure you would like to see things from a different perspective altogether. I intend to make this blog more interactive and would love to hear stories and experiences that you all must have faced in any way.

Will take your leave now and will come with something that will tickle your senses...see you soon my friends
